So when are we going to have a Arkansas meet?
After sar... When I can't tell u. I am kicking around end of march in my head. The bigger issue is where. Who all would be interested. We have 3 options as I see it.
1.We have 2 1000ft track in mid Arkansas. Problem with those tracks is there is nothing to eat around them. From what I hear they are in b.f.e.
2. We have a meet in little rock. Problem with that being it is just a meet. Maybe grab a bit to eat and go our separate ways. Kinda dull.
3. Is a personal favorite.... In north Louisiana there are two tracks. Gillam (right beside Shreveport) and twin city in Monroe. Both are 1/4 mile tracks. Gilliam should be by far a amazing track to run at. Shreveport and Monroe have plenty of lots to meet up at and places to eat and hang out then racing the whole afternoon. Shreveport has casinos for this old enuf as well.....
if you have it in Shreveport you might lure some DFW guys to attend. :thumb:
That is something else I an kicking around red. Shreveport is supposed to be a very nice track. I havent went yet. But it's very very centrally located between ms, the south la guys, oklahomos, arkansas, and as u said Texas in general. Be a fun way for people wanting to get out to spend a weekend. Casinos and such.

There are a few on PT.net that are wanting to meet up. 8 members as of this moment. The problem as you stated is location. I've made a list of everyone and where we are from to try n help decide. I like your idea of going to the track Show&Go.
a truck meet without a track, or at least some good street race options, is dull, ive been to both types a few runs always makes it better. after a dyno day in saginaw the V man knew a good spot for street runs....then we got the police helo circling above :thumb: and for all you haters it was an industrial park on a weekend, no one around but a rentacop :lol:
Theres Sallisaw and Centerville drag strips to choose from that I'm aware of. So it's looking like one of those.
sallisaw is 1/8th mile, even though thats all i can run right now, it still sucks :lol: they do have a nice straight road just outside the track though :thumb:Quote:
