Theft/Security and MIL light on and no start now.

I changed my steering column on my 08 silverado, using my old wiring harness and ignition switch/key/ignition module from my old column. Now that I did that, and tried to perform a security relearn, it won't start. I thought since using the original key/switch it wouldn't think I was tampering with the passkey feature. I'm lost on what the heck to do. Do I need a dealer or buck up and buy HP tuners or what?

Try performing a security relearn.

Found it. I'm an idiot. I took off the column cover and found I forgot to plug in the little connector to the ignition switch. Starts much better now.
