Hey guys, Here's one of the Con-rods out of my latest project. I was thinking of putting it in the back of my bed to help get a little traction when I complete my swap  LMAO!!

That would be a sure fire way to twist the drive shaft off. :thumb:
Hurry up and finish that thing, I need more octane!!!
I like the oil lines on it. Train engine? Obviously somthing commercial and very big. I bet its bigger then a 6.0
You must have to use one helluva torque wrench!
If I remember correctly, that is for a compressor to make the octane booster for gasoline. The oil lines, I made that mistake too, are actually wires leading to a sensor to feed back temps to a monitoring computer. I believe Lance says there are four cylinders on that bad-ass compressor compressing the gases to 3000 psi? That's one awesome compressor. I want one for my garage.
Goddamn.
what the hell is that out of????
Yes, that is a con-rod out of an HHE I-R compressor for compressing hydrogen. This machine actually runs 300 RPM and compresses up to 2300 psi on the 4th cyilinder. Greg, the 3200 psi compressors are BDC's which are a little smaller than this. It's just like a car engine except there is no ignition and has a 13,000 HP motor driving the crankshaft. Yes, this is on an Ultracracker Unit which produces high octane gasoline. That con-rod weighs about as much as 4 complete LS1's with transmissions connected to them. You should see us install one of these bad boys!! LOL
