duraflex/carbon fiber hoods, any input?

i have been looking at hoods for my avalanche for a while now, mine is rusted around the latch and has to go. if i have to spend the cash im gonna get a ram air hood. i cant find a steel ram air hood for a cladded avalanche that wont cost a fortune, so, any input on any of these ebay hoods would be great, or a link to a better 1 for decent $. i have only owned 1 fiberglass hood and my neighbors cat loved to scratch it, thats all i know about them and its not enough to make an educated decision when buying 1. im leaning towards the carbon fiber hood, im gonna just clear coat it and see how it looks if i get it, might look decent with the cladding? any help would be great, thanks.
