Since I have a 04 could I step up to 07 Silverado brakes by swapping the caliper/bracket and rotor on the front? Just looking for to verify.

Was told that IF your truck has Hydraboost brake setup you can do the swap. BUT don't take my word on it hopefully some of the other guys that have done this swap or are in the process of doing this swap will chime in.
I'm tring to upgrade my suck a$$ stock booster to an 05 booster setup to improve the slush that I currently get out of my 03. That I can tell you will improve brake response and pedal feel.
Yes, you can run the 05 and to 07 front calipers, brackets, and rotors.
You can not run anything smaller than a 17'' wheel though.
You can use GMT900 front brake parts on any NBS 1500 truck. I have installed it on my 2 trucks and several forum members. Really good/cheap mod that provides night and day difference with good slotted rotors and performance brake pads.
thanks guys

if you have to buy new pads and rotors i suggest these, i have had these brakes on my avalanche for over 6 months and love them, their is no comparison between these and oe. i can drive for an hour and they stay cool enough to touch, and they show no wear and i am hell on brakes. i live in indiana and have had them on my truck all winter and not a speck of rust on the rotors. well worth $200 imo

hey st8kfinger,
im really glade you posted a review on those brakes because i ended up going with them! I figured with the hydro boost swap and the brad. front brake lines there was no need to upgrade to a 13 inch front rotor.
off subject i really like your painted caliper, what brand paint did you use? G2?
rust-oleum hi temp engine enamel, with verry little prep, well actully verry verry verry little prep. its actully holding up great, looks like i just painted it and it was done the same time as the pads and rotors. i posted these brakes up a while back and got no hits on the thread, for 4 drilled/slotted zink plated rotors and ceramic pads in the $200 range shipped to your door you WONT find better ones, even for way more $'s . i have bought several sets from the guy for every thing from an evo 8 to a dodge 1 ton dually with no complaints just "what else can you get them for?"
