6.0 into 79 gmc 4x4 ?s

Whats up im a newbie to the ls engines. I know some about them but never really owned one. I do however though own a 95 ta that i have put heads and a cam in, vortech t trim supercharger and converted it to a th400 reverse manual trans. What i am on here asking you all about is if you have done a similar conversion into one of the same body style of trucks? I have found a motor in my state that seems to be a great buy 07 6.0 with only 60000 miles. Comes with wiring harness and computer for 1600. I have done some research on parts of this but still have some ?s. I know im going to need the motor mount plates that bolt on to the motor to put the motor back where it was. I need to know how it is going to work for me though if i use the transmission that i have in the truck now which i think is a saginaw 465. I know that the trans will bolt to the motor but i need to know what clutch i need to use to make this work. Another ? that i have is i am planning to keep the fuel injection that the motor comes with and maybe putting a ls6 intake on it. I know i will have to put a high pressure fuel pump in to supply the motor but need some input on the part numbers that i may need to get. Can i use my stock tank and buy a sending unit to drop in it or do i need to find one from a newer tbi injected truck and then put a sending unit in it.

Any input that you guys have on this is greatly appreciatted. I will be using the truck as some what a daily driver and to pull an occasional car trailer, and push some snow when the white stuff flies. When i get started on this i will post some pics of progress so if someone else comes across the same thing i am they will be able to look at my progress.
