Transmission ??s
I've got an '07 suburban 4x4 with the 5.3l, 4l60E and 3.73 gears. I tow trailers often with it and don't get too heavy with them. I plan on having the engine tuned soon with an intake and will probably leave it at that.
In my old 02 Silverado, I did a quick build on the transmission but really don't remember what all I did to it. I don't want to break the tires loose on every shift but just want it to last longer and be able to hold up to some additional torque as I plan on having some or all of the torque management tuned out.
What can/should I do? I remember putting in a transgo shift kit and some servos but I don't remember going much farther than that. Is there anything else I can/need do without taking the tranny out? The trans runs/shifts fine right now and I want to keep it that way.
