Got 2000 5.3 with a Whipple 2.3 side mount spinning 10lbs. I want to run a carb style intake with a elbow to the drivers side so I can plum in a fmic. I've searched and looked and haven't found anyone else do it. I don't really have the motor, cam or Rpm's to support a Vic. Well I thought I'd throw the idea up here and see what people thought. Mayby a performer rpm or something. Any ideas or input guys?
If you're boosting then don't worry about the manifold being too big.
Macgyver has built an intercooler for his whipple and a few other guys on pt.net. Frenchy is right you wont have to worry about it being too big. The whipple will fill it with air very quickly. Hot air hot hot air.
Cool I'll have to check that site out. Thanks guys. The main reason I want it is so I can add a fmic. I really miss my F1A sometimes lol
