A Friend Of mine Suggested That I should go out and buy a 6.0L Truck Intake manifold, My pal Sez it is Bigger Than a 5.3L Intake,(hes Runnin the 6.L Truck Intake on a Camaro) Cheap performance boost, He says I can expect up to 8 hp With 6.0L Intake. So I go to buy one, and the Guy @ Junk Yard Says His Book Says they are Interchangeable, Meaning to him they are the Same, and he tries to sell me My same Intake off of another 5.3 from a yukon! Whos Right, The junk yard Or My Freind? He Swears up and down that They are diffrent...!

I'm not sure on that one, they may very well be the same, but for sure the camaro and 6L intake are NOT the same, so it might have been worth it to switch for him, but I'm not sure if they are different that there would be enough reason for you to do the swap.

a) the 5.3/4.8 and 6.0 manifolds are all completely 100% identical, and b) if your friend has a 98 or newer camaro he is infact NOT running a 6.0 truck manifold for it is to tall and would require cutting the cowl and having a new windshield made, and would actually not run as well as the stock LS1 or LS6 intake manifold. hit your friend in the side of the head with a wrench.

Truck manifolds are all the same until they went to the 90mm opening in the DBW ones... they have a 4 bolt flange and then neck down to ~78mm anyway.
Anyway, keep what you have. You'll get no power at all from a 6.0 manifold.
