My question to you guys that have done the swap is how is this going to effect my emissions testing? I am assuming that I will still have to pass the sniffer test for a 95 GMC 5.7L truck engine even though I will have the LS1 under the hood with OBD2 instead of OBD1. Am I right? If you guys have had the sniffer test done and still have your printout of the emissions readings I would deffinately like to see them to compare what my truck engine puts out. If you could list any mods you have with those that would be great too!
Thanks,
Mike

mine passed the sniffer test with flying colors. Don't know where the readout is though. I had everything removed but a vacuum hose from the TB to the charcoal canister.

So it passed for the 92 emissions in your truck without cats etc...? Thats awesome!

I still have stock f-body cats. Gotta have them for visual inspection in tx.

I see. I will be using all the proper emissions equipment as well except headers and exhaust. I just want to make sure before I do it that I am going to be able to pass. I am planning on a heads and cam at the time of the swap as well.
