annnnndddd....Im back
Well fellow members and good friends that I have on here, I have come out of hiding to bring you good news...
THE GREY GOOSE IS COMING BACK!
Its currently still being stored safely at my ranch with some nasty 22's sitting next to it:tacos:
This time, a fully built LS1 and a TURBO!
Which of course btw, I want Allen @ Nelson Performance to do the turbo for me, like I had promised.
Plans for truck:
No More AWD. Staying 2wd. Already have a rear built axle so there is no change needed there, or the transmission at the moment (Its a custom built one a great transmission builder built in town comparable to around a Stage 4 or 5 FLT.)
Anyways heres the plan:
Cowl hood
SS body cladding custom moulded to crew cab
New interior carpet and sway headliner and katzkin leather seats
Forged LS1 with cam and heads and a lot of goodies
Take the UD pulleys from my 5.3 and put it on the Ls1.
Purple Keys from 2500 to lower T-Bars more/Hangers for the rear
Rear sway bar
Escalade speedometer cluster clocked to my old mileage the right way
In dash screen and JL shallow mounts under back seat powered by a 500 Slash JL amp I already have sitting around
PLX gauges/ wideband/ boost guage in the center console cubby hole
Then off to Nelson Performance for the turbo! I want this thing running before February so I can come to the Ls1truck meet again! Went the first year but last year I missed out because my dumbass let Redline motorsports touch it after I put the rockers on and all the problem was, was a LOOSE ROCKER...thats it! they let it run till it took a crap on it. They wouldnt do anything about it. Then karmas a b**** because they were doing an Rx8-Ls1 swap to my dickhead roommates car and let it fall of the shop lift!!! Then an employee goes there drunk one night to stay the night, beats his girlfriend almost to death, she takes off across the highway towards the airport, then the employee gets hit by a drunk driver. Redline Motorsports in Bryans reputation is ruined thanks to people like them and thats what they deserve.
Enough with my ranting though, how have you guys been? Any changes to your whips?

Hahah hell ya guys! Damn your trucks look good! Yea I put about 10,000 miles on the cam until it got jacked with, that cam performed very nicely though! But the truck will be in my driveway tomorrow, and I'm going to start on it right after thanksgiving hopefully!
How did your 4.8 blow up? You must have put a ginormous cam in like I did in my 4.8 when the truck was lifted if you remember that LOL. That didnt last long at all.
Hey Ray, nice to meet you, How long does the turbo builds take typically? What turbo would you recommend for my setup, T-70? I am unsure on the cam size of the LS1 but I can get back with you on that pretty quickly. I have my ranger for my daily driver so I can let you guys at NP do the rest on the truck.
