Any have an issue with rock chips from not having mud/splash guards? I bought some from the dealership, put one in place, and decided I don't like the looks of them on the truck. I'm just nit wanting Rick chips all down the sides of my truck.

as long as you dont have any real wide tires you should be fine ive never had splash guards and do alot of dirt road/gravel road driving and mines got minimal chips for havin 100k miles on it i honestly have more chips on the front of the hood from people throwing rocks on a freshly paved road and bugs then i do behind the wheels
i have rock chip from rocks being kicked up. must be the 33" AT tires thought, and doing burnouts in mud and gravel. imo the mud flaps look like crap. id rather get a couple of chips than to look silly. it not very noticble unless you look under the panel.
I just have the stock 265/70-17's on mine. So ya think it'll be fine? I thought about getting some of the clear rock guard stuff and putting it on the fender down at the bottom to help prevent them.
My truck has it behind the rear tires and on the leading edge of the rear fenders where they flare out. Nothing on the front.
you can probably get that clear stuff from the dealer and just slap you some on lol if you really want protection get the bottom rhinolined but IMO with stock tires you should be fine
That's what I was thinking with the stock tires. I'll get a more aggressive tread with the next set, but won't go any wider.
I have 33'' mud tires on my truck with no mud flaps, and I only experience chips behind the rear tires on side of the bed. Actually, I'm pretty sure those few chips were already there before I even bought the truck.
