well i opted for finding a used 5.3 or 6.0 rebuliding it and putting it back in my truck but my dad wants to just put a new crate motor 5.3 in which will be going in next week. My only deal is this motor is comming with a 3 yr 100k mile warrenty...is my modding time over for right now or will cam and other stuff void the warrenty?
if you tear into the motor, depends on how strick the dealer wants to be, they could void your warranty.
thats what im kinda figuring im i need a new motor and im really appreciative for it im jus kinda bummed i gotta halt all my plans and im not sure if my headers will even get to stay or if they;ll make me put the stock manifolds and cats back on
yet again depends on how picky your dealer is, if you have any questions talk to the service manager and see what is and what is not allowed
