Hello...I just bought a 1986 checy k10 with 133k miles from the original owner.
I replaced the distributor plugs and wires. It was running great for about two weeks.
Yesterday I hit a pot holes and the truck sputtered and went dead. It turns over and will run if I pour gas directly into it. It has dual tanks and both tanks have gas in them.
i was thinking it might be the fuel pump relay but I can not find the relay?
Any other ideas would sure be appreciated.

see if the power wire for the distrinutor fell out

86 is carb'd. It has a mechanical pump. Obviously if you can get it to run by forcing it gas it's a fuel delivery issue. Give your lines a quick check, maybe one cracked or split or just fell off.
