Yea I hope it that easy. All 8 cylinder hole look the same, so I don't know. We will find out when the motor goes to the machine shop.

yeah seams like when the rings were filed there were some sharp edges/ bers left...

looks like you've got an issue with detonation. And maybe an issue with dirty assembley. how long has it been together? who did the work?

you get denotation from having oil in the combustion chamber
it also could be that motor is out of round [cylinders]
either way it was a poor assembly

The log files weren't showing any denotation or KR when I was loging the truck. The motor had little over 2k on when I pulled from the truck. Waiting here back from the machine shop. THanks
