guage help!!!
does anyone have a pic or can take a pic of the stock gauges at operating temp with the truck running? I attempted the led comversion and got my needles all out of wack and didnt take a pic before i took it apart :sad: I know now that was a dumb move ...... can somebody snap a pic for me please its a 2004 1500 if that makes a difference.....

if you have access to a computer, use scanning software to set them. That's what I did on the silverado, cuz gauges are pretty inaccurate from the factory.

open up the software...view the digital gauges on your laptop. it'll say "coolant temp 192*" or whatever. The 'glass' portion of cluster comes off pretty easy. pop needle off, put it at '192'. Move onto next gauge. Mine used to read 210 CONSTANTLY, and digital readout would say like 192-195, so I moved needle. Just pop it off, and put it on where you want it.

The software is something you buy. Such as HP tuners, EFI live, LS1 Edit. Ect ect
