I took my truck off roading a few weeks back and now i want it clean again. what is the best way to clean under the hood with out damaging anything, i have mud and dried water spots all over the place from coil packs to oil pan.

i say go to the do it yourself car wash place. put a plastic bag over the battery and air intake.
and put if on engine wash (should have a setting for that) and let it rip!!!!

its fun, but the clean up after takes its time (hmmm... kinda like sex lmao)
just be careful not to get water UNDER intake...our knock sensors like to rust out
well i went to the car wash place and no engine clean option, i am just worried about spraying water into what maybe a bad place. i plan on selling the truck soon so i wanted to clean it up good. thanks for the advice.
soak it with simple green and let sit for about 5 minutes and then hit it with the exterior hot soap car wash setting and all should come loose.
engine hot or cold?
