Thanks,
it's used to ground a relay to power efans.
you don't have to do anything with it to get the truck running, it's just a convenience for us wanting to run efans and have it trigger with PIN 42.
Maybe I got the pin wrong but it says on the sticky its for the tcc valve
Anyone?
Red pin 42 is supposed to be tan/black and it goes to the torque convertor control solenoid. Are you sure you're asking about the correct wire because that one is supposed to go to the transmission harness if this was wired for a 60e transmission.
i understand that it goes to the tranny but in the sticky it says to bundle the wires and route them in the cab.
what do you do with it once in the cab..supply power, ign power, ??? ground??? or is it controlled by the ecm?
I understand all the other wires in the bundle, except this one
Thanks
Its been so long since i did my harness in my ECSB that i dont remember...I did my own standalone and its working perfect...just dont remember this wire.
alright i looked at the wiring diagram and looks like its controlled by the ecm...and i did run the power to the tranny connector. so am i reading or misunderstanding something on the sticky where this wire is ran into the cab...just want to clarify so i can start installing my guages and wire run the rest of my powers.
