Assembling AN fittings?

I did a search but didn't come up with much.

Any tips in general I should know when assembling my AN fittings? Should I use any kind of lube/sealant on the threads? I know they don't have to be torqued very hard since they're aluminum. I'm using Push Loc/Twist Tite/Push On fittings (whatever name you know them by) would it make a difference if I used something on the fittings to help slide the hose on? I was playing with them at my kitchen counter and noticed it's going to be hell pushing that hose on, LOL.

oh ya, they are hell pushing them on, i coat the fitting and hose with oil and put one some thick welding gloves.
also, push the hell out of them, just don't faint while doing it, lol, seriously, hahahah.

or, use a heat gun, head the hose till the very tip starts to melt, with gloves, push that bad boy on.

even if you get two barbs on the hose, and it's not flush with the nut, it isn't coming up no matter what!!!!!!

they are on for life once pushed on, you gotta cut them off, so leave a few inches of slack just in case.

i think he might be referring to push on hose, that is the other type of hose. maybe i call them something different, but russell calls them Twist Loc hose as well.
the blue hose with the barbed fittings

spray wd40 on fitting and inside hose then push on. Makes the hose go all the way in and won't leak or make you sweat too much.

yeah i worked with those once i ended up using some, of the methods you used.

i was not able to find, a video of those type fittings.
