Fuel line fittings

Ive been looking for good ways to connect to the GM quick disconnect style fittings used on the Gen III truck engine and LS1 engine intake fuel rails. I finally found some that convert them to standard AN fittings (on the bottom right):

Part number 5800. They're friggin expensive, but it's the only thing I've been able to find so far. Is there anything else out there like this that's less expensive?

I too would like to know. Is there a stock GM fitting that&#39;ll work?

I use Dorman connectors, fuel hose for fuel injected vehicles(rubber outside with teflon liner) and smooth band fuel hose clamps. Connects are &#036;11 each, hose is about &#036;5 a foot and clamps are about &#036;.25 each.

I&#39;m hoping to be in a position to fire mine up tomorrow. Would tightly clamped rubber lines hold on those fuel rails until I can get the fittings? That sorta scares me, but I don&#39;t want to wait another week to get these fittings before I fire it up... :(

Dorman Qwick Disconnects, 140psi marine fuel line, all sweged together (buddy in hose supply biz).

Hmmm, What is the Walbro psi anyway? (was told it is 45psi)

I may have bad things happen. :grr:

Walbro pumps about 80 psi dead-headed. 45 is with a regulator in an LT1 or Vortech. 52 in a NBS truck and 58 lbs in an F or Y body.

I actually thought they were at 90. That is what I told the hose guy. Looks like my hose psi rating will suffice.

Turned the LS1 over Tuesday. At least the wires to the ignition and starter are hooked up right.

At this point I am only in need of the 5 plug MAF. Bending transmission lines now.

I also bought the upper radiator hose for an &#39;02 Silverado, read on here it worked. I suppose it would with a lot of trimming and splicing. After 45 minutes at the parts store last night (they gave me the reach rod and let me have at it) I was able to match a very nice fitting one.

What hose did you end up running?

S&P used a &#39;99 truck upper and lower hoses.
