So i want to paint that trim peice that goes around the guages and the radio, how do you guys get it smooth, do i need to just sand the crap out of it or should i use filler. and any tricks and tips would be great.

Sand the crap out of it, and when you think you're done sanding, keep going. Start out with 80 grit, then go to 120, then 320... then use some primer filler... I've got a guide on here on how to paint an NNBS tailgate handle, that same process holds true for interior parts...Quote:
