Dod bypass?

In The Process Of Swapping in a ly6 with the DOD,,is there any way of bypassing it?will it run even without the plug in the cam phaser?Or what is all needed in order to run?WOULD I HAVE TO RUN THE STOCK 4.8 CAM IN IT:ugh2: any tips/help appreciated..thanks-Zach

those are the things i went through, and i see your truck is afm. a truck without afm/dod, wont have those problem, but will still have to swap cams out, unless a vendor is selling harness conversions to make the vvt work on trucks that didnt come with it from factory.

i wouldnt have to worry about tuning out the dod i think.... damm gm why did they try to go green,giving me a headache lol
