A/C problem
I am having a prob with my ac. The air is never cold and the compressor does not ever engage. I have checked all the fuses and relays and all are good. There is no power going to the comp. Also when i turn the temp to just a little hot it goes all the way hot doesn't go back. I have searched that and have found that it may be the temperature control actuator but will that also stop the compressor from coming on?

you could have one of several issues, low on pressure charge, defective wiring, defective sensor in the back end of the compressor, bad clutch, broken or burned wire, defective pressure switch... First thing, get the pressure checked and then take a test light to the clutch wiring and see if you have voltage at the clutch when you turn the dash switch on.
Do you know Lance Z in whitesboro? Drives a red OBS single cab that is lowered and runs an LT1? His wife has a silver Vette.

I have hooked up a gauge up to the low side and the gauge pegged out. everything was working when i swapped the motor so im thinking that it may be a damaged wire. I have tried to bypass all the sensors and that didn't help. Thank you for the places to check.
I have met Lance before but it was a long time ago. I always liked his truck.
