Sorry about that. I was running low on fuel so i put like 2 gallons from a extra can we have at the house so i could get to the gas station. I get there just fine with no issues. I filled it up and on the way home it starts sputtering and not accelerating at all. As i was going up a hill i heard like a metal clanking sound and my truck wont pass 10 mph. I pulled it into a driveway and called the tow truck so they could take it to our insurances "preferred shop". They called me like 2 hours later saying that my fuel pump was shot and they are going to replace it for 835 bucks.....kinda ridiculous but the best part is they have to fix that before they can see what else is wrong with my truck...awesome day
I have had this same issue a couple times. One time it was a fuel pump another time it was an 02 sensor. Definately don't pay that much for the work. And if u do make sure that includes the sending unit and the pump when they replace it.
you can get a walbro for around $140 bucks and dropping the tank is pretty simple as long as you got a buddy and the right tools
