Kinda pointless to, unless your in a class that dictates SBC, this is probably a grey area part for circle jerker racing

Kind of agree with them, whoever it was. It's still kinda cool though.
This motor was made mainly for the circle track guys and all their restrictions. Its probably the best sbc ever made, but still no LS
sounds like a messy endeavor, the bore spacing is different, which means, lifter bores are spaced different along with every single bearing. Sounds like either and LS dressed as an SBC or an SBC with LS dimensions and GenII hardware.

I think the bore spacing is 4.4", the same as all chevy small blocks, including the LS
well on that note, the conversion would be alot easier except for the 1.7:1 rocker ratios
