i just had a message pop that said something to the effect of ''this website has been reported to contain a malicious virus!!! i don't care if my computer is going to blow up in my face I'm not leaving this site!!! i really know nothing about computers so if there are any questions i probably wont have an intelligent answer. i have kaspersky ant-virus so I'm not too worried but has this happened to anybody else?:argg:

sounds like you actually got a virus...and its telling you to get a different antivirus probably, which turns out to be yet another virus. and by that time, a phillipino kid has 4 credit cards in your name, the mortgage on your house is owned by some cayman bank, and the IRS is wanting to know how you can afford a G5 jet and a fleet of 20 GPS equipped snowmobiles with heated seats...
There are links in a certain section with links to GIF files. Those GIF files come from a website that attempts to take over your computer and steal data off of it. It happened on my computer and I'm not the least bit happy about it.

I got a trojan horse from here last night. Norton caught it.
download malwarebytes and scan your computer.
It's probably coming from one of the adds. Corvette Forum had the same problem about a year ago.
