LS2 chain with Ls1 sprockets does have alittle bit of slop
so should i get a ls2 sprocket or will i be okay with my ls1 i dont want my timing to be off or anything to get messed up
probably best to get the ls2 cam sprocket, its meaty to say the least, and if you wanted, you could switch to the front cam sensor, no idea why though. . . but yeah, get a sprocket
ok do you know if its the same 3 bolt
NO reason to switch. The cam sprockets are identical. They both measure .210 thickness. And the gears are identical..
so should i just leave the chain the way it is cause i dont want to much slack in it..
ok and what if i put a damper on it i dont think it has holes for one but was just curious
I don't see a need for one. Unless your reving over 7k and making alot of power..like 600+hp
