ok so im about to install my new trans cooler and i remember a few guys talking about running it in line with the stocker. so how r u guys doing it. just running one of the lines from the tranny to the stock cooler, then running the outlet off the stock to the new cooler then the outlet from there to the tranny line going back to the trans?
I would leave the radiator inline (go from trans to radiator to new cooler, back to trans)
But if you had a factory tow package with the one infront of the radiator, I would just disconnect that and install new one.
the line coming out of the top of the radiator is the return line to the transmission, hook it into it. Run that hose to the bottom inlet of the new cooler. The whole idea is that the fluid has to completely fill the cooler before returning to the transmission.
