Ebay Headers
Ebay headers delivered for to my door for $300. Yes the stainless steel ones that we all see everyday.
The Verdict:
They line up great and look great. Good quality.
Fitment:
The drivers is about 1/2'' to an 1'' away from the front drive shaft.
The Passenger side is dang close, around 1/8'' away from frame. BUT there is some adjusting I can do with the Y to help pull it away more. Close but does not hit.
They do not include new manifold bolts so make sure you purchase those if you current ones are unable to be reused.
One the drivers side you will either need some heat resistant boots for the rear two plugs or be creative with some kind of strap to help keep the wires off the headers. Failure to do so will leave you with some melted wires and misfires.
All in all, for anyone who was hesitant to purchase these, don't be. Will try to get some pics up later this week.

Which truck did you put headers on?

The fit on my truck was perfect. Love these headers.

Were these the ones with the catted Y pipe? Thats the only ones I could find at that price. If they are different, would you post a link? Thanks.
-
Guess it was a good thing you sold me the old PaceSetters right?
-
Mine were with a Y, it was alot cheaper. Exhaust shop cut and made it to work with the factory pipes.

why in hell you buying headers for the gmc? you need to get your other crap fixed or sold or both
-
Did you use the supplied clamps or bandclamp it like everyone else?
-
Supplied clamps were fine for now. They don't leak and I can't see em.
