hey guys...
i am currently modding my truck since its winter for the summer time...
i am putting 305/50R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 20x9.5 Enkei Deep 6 wheels, baer eradispeed +2 and +1 brake upgrade kit, 4.56 gears, and now i want to give my tranny a little more bite to keep up wit the mods...
I was looking to do this:
TransGo shift kit
Corvette Servo
Billet OD Servo
Hardened Seperator plate
Can you guys give me good websites for good prices on all these items? :help:

I would call Allen for the TransGo and Corvette servo. I think he is charging around 130...which is pretty good price.
As far as the the Billet OD Servo, I would check on Ebay. I see those things on there all the time.
And the Hardened Seperator Plate, check with Jag Performance.
I would order from these guys: Transmission Parts USA
They have vetter servos for less than $10, sonnax OD servos for around $50 and transgo hd shift kit for $80.

hey guys, were can i buy a hardened seperator plate??
i have the vette servo billet OD servo and the transgo on order but i cant find a hardened sep plate??!?!?!

I seem to recall reading that you installed these items in your truck. How hard was it? I am not a tranny x-pert but I can follow directions like a champ! Would you say it was more difficult or time consuming? I am trying to decide what jobs I want to tackle as I can't afford to pay for all my mods and someone to do the work. Anything I can pull off myself I want to do.

Not too hard, but that can vary from person to person. It takes a long time just to get the damned pan on and off. If you forget to get some spray adhesive... good luck getting that gasket on easily. GM just makes stuff so non-user serviceable it's not even funny.Quote:

I'd budget about 8 hours to do this in your garage/driveway. It's simply not something that you just throw in and it's done. Everything needs to be clean, organized, done properly, etc.
The ATSG manual is a good piece that shows everything you want to know and then some about the 60E, it's pretty cool. Torque specs, exploded diagrams, stuff that's handy to have for the SK install.
You'll need some odd tools, In-Lbs torque wrench, snap ring pliers, various sockets, assorted screw drivers, etc.
