Would the one out of my 99 Silvy work in my 04 Sierra?
They both have the same push button 4wd panel.
Would have to be programmed? :help:

are you talkin about the electric whoosy wop on the t case??
Hahaha..No, it is the black box undre the dash.
My problem is that it is not waking up on key on. Therefore none of the lights on the switch panel come on and i get the Service 4wd light.
My deductible through the aftermarket warranty is $100. But the one in the 99 is longer being used. (NP246 to 241 swap)
It would be nice to save that money for strippers and beer!
id try it bro. most of that nbs stuff is the same anyways. id try it fo sho.
I'm doing some research on transfer case control modules. Can I purchase your failed unit?
I actually got it working again.
I do still have the one in the 99 though.
Is there anything wrong with the 99?
What did you find wrong with the 04?
99 worked fine, just eliminated.
The problem with the 04 was that it was not waking up on Key on. Checked the fuses, this that, but just unplugged battery for a few seconds and wah-lah.
I may have some further electrical issues causing the problem. My radio will be on but no sound and once when i started it all the presets were gone.
Appears to act funky when i turn the key on but wait a second or two to crank it.
