Best Lift Kit
OK, so after many months of thinking and going back and forth I have chosen to lift my truck. I want to run 33 35 inch mud tires and i want to go 3.5 or 6 inch lift kit, what is the best kit I can get for the least amount of money. What would you guys recommend.

For your truck, get a RCD Suspension and don't look back.! You will wish you have if you don't. They has better shocks. stainless steel torque bars. nice sway bar links and a cool wrinckle power coated.
-
they look like they are pretty nice, should i put the whole thing in myself or pay some company to do it. Or should i just do a 3 inch body lift and run 33 mud tires and call it a day, that sounds a lot cheaper. the truck is still a daily driver.

That's up to you. A 6" lift will not affect a DD truck. I have installed 3 of this kits. It will take a day, I had lifts but can be done without. If you just want 33" go the cheap route.

So if i just want to run 33s, you would recommend just a 3 inch body lift. What does it cost to have a 6 inch lift installed.
-
probably looking at 6-900 for install depending on where you go for install.
A body lift is about 300, and can be done in about 8 hours TOPS with 2 people and standard tools. I would do a leveling kit/body lift for now, then when you get the bug in a few more years, add a suspension lift.

thanks for all the help, i think i will just go for the body lift i dont have that kind of cash yes. Why should i use a leveling kit with a body lift.
-
It's not necessary, but relatively cost effective means of getting a couple inches. New keys/small block in back goes a long way on a stock truck.

Alright so 3 inchs of body lift and leveling kit will that give me about 5 inches of hight or more, and with some 33s will it look goofy at all, and do you recommend a brand for the leveling kit.
-
it wouldnt look any more goofy than a lifted truck, and lifted trucks dont look goofy. when you break it down what will you be saving by buying a body lift, bumper brackets, gap covers, and all the bs involved like the fan shroud and on and on, and then on top of it keyways, blocks, and getting your front end lined up? when you buy (even a low end kit) it usually has every thing you need to do it right, other than maby it has low grade bolts. at the end of the body-torsion lift you will be in over half of a true lift.
