i have recently dont some mods to the truck including the following intake, exhaust, cam 236/242 580/590 on a 112 lsa, tune, and headers i know i definatly need a new stall and converter but in the mean time what do you guys think? and any ideas for a converter would help also.
What kind of truck,Standard cab ,ext cab? Motor? With out knowing where your racing and weather conditions I'll say 14.7@93
its an 02 5.3 silverado ext cab and racing is west texas
I ran 14.4@97 with about the same mods you have with the factory converter, in San Antonio ,the temp. was about 60.
Thats a huge cam for a 5.3. Hope you get a huge stall or youll never get going
bet it's bad from a 30 kick... :lol: Yea in your case a converter will drop your time atleast a second and a few mph!!

i'd talk to chris at circle-d let him know whatcha got and he'll reccomend a great converter for ya, personally i would look into a 4k + triple disc

Well if it's a DD, i wouldn't go over 4k stall... if not still 4 would be good enough :thumb:
