97k1500 to 5.3

Just picked up a 2006 5.3 with 24000 miles on it for 750.00 which I thought was a killer deal. I was just wondering what everyone on here is doing for exhaust? Does some one make headers for this swap or do you use the original exhaust manifolds? Also If some one needed a 5.3 they have another one with same mileage and price. Can't wait to get started on this so any help would be thankful.

Sounds like a good find.

Nothing wrong with using stock headers if all you wanna do is get the engine in and get it running.
Schoenfeld makes long tube headers for these trucks and get the dirty dingo engine mounts, it'll be an easy swap!
