A/C blower question
I have a 2004 silverado with the 6.0 and just tried the A/C and noticed the clutch would go on then shut right off. Figured that i am a little short, but what is wierd is I turn the blower speed to 5 and the blower shuts off???I turn it down to 4 and it starts to blow. Any help is appreciated.
thanks

you need to replace the blower motor module and wiring pigtail. They are located on the passenger side under dash.
you can get them here, type 4180 in the search box in the link and it will take you to what you need.

Thank you so much for the help! I am sure this is the fix because when I did turn on blower I smelled wires burning and shut down immediately. I ordered the combo and will install asap:thanks:
Thank you again

While we are on the topic now...(thread jacking  )
My buddies 03 Durango..New resistor and then harness melted. New harness and new resistor again....same thing. Both melted.
Now what Foggy?

He may have to actually replace the blower motor itself.

Roger, exactly what I was thinking.

Thanks for the great link Foggy. I have a Tahoe and a Silverado with blower motor problems and they helped me resolve both problems.
