new numbers
Well today I had the truck dynoed at efi alchemy in jacksonville fl. I am not very happy with the results, but here they are 402/388. I found out that my 42lbers are at a 110% at 7lbs of boost. So I am gonna gohead and get new injectors to fix that problem. The truck is running 12.5degree timing, does this sound right. I plan on swapping the cam for the tr blower cam and taking it back down to efi alchemy to get the truck dyno tuned. There was a prcharged vette there that put down 540 that was pretty bad ass.

well not all dynos read the same but something to think about you have a 80. its going to rob the power number
heres what a generic way of your power should be. take your motor for what it makes at 1 bar which is 105 kpa which is NA. say your 5.3 makes 300 rwhp
now take 1 bar on top of 1 bar to give you boost. so if your motor made 300 rwhp NA then you had 14.7 psi to it youll see 600 rwhp [in perfect life] but since youre at 7psi which is half you would see a gain of 150 rwhp
so 150rwhp + 300 rwhp= 450 rwhp
this works well for manuals and figuring hp out. now take the near 20% drivetrain loss of a 80e and apply that and youll be around 400 rwhp
so yes your about right, however i bet it runs a low/mid 12

Only 12.5 degrees of timing? Doesn't sound right to me. I run 20 degrees of timing and I push 11psi. My 43#ers run at 84% at 11psi but I have a 4.8L. Still, 400+ at the wheels is pretty good for only 7psi, especially with an 80E - I only had about 340 when I used to run 6psi.
