I replaced my rear end.. the whole deal about three years ago. Anyways I counted the teeth and came up with 41. Is this the right rearend for my truck? My vin is 2GCEC19T91127577. I called about a locker because i busted the limited slip deal. Was told to count the teeth and 41 what it has. They say it should be like 31 or 35.. Something like that anyways. Its a 4x4 so i hope i didnt mess up all the 4x4 system.. Thanks for any and all help
Did you count teeth on ring gear or axle splines?

41 teeth on the ring gear doesn't tell us anything without knowing how many the pinion has. 3.42, 3.73, 4.10 and 4.56 all have 41 on the ring gear.

Most the time they need to know how many splines or on the axle. Might count that too before calling them back.
I got the ratio now.. I was just confused on what they wanted me to count, lol looking for a locker theap enough for my budget...
