Walbro GSS340 install problems

Hi guys, we bought a Walbro GSS340 fuel pump from summit a while back and tried to install it yesterday on our 99 Silverado 5.3 and it just plain wont fit, I read something about having to make some modifications to the module where it sits, is there a write up somewhere on how to do that?

You have to cut/grind some of the plastic away that getting in the way.

yeah it takes a little modification but it works.

i burnt one up in 3 mos got to cut bottom of basket out to get flow. also a nitrile(blue) glove rapped around it will help the rattle
