408?
Well i missed up my engine with N2O I was going to put the same setup back in the truck. But then i was thinking i was not to happy with the power.
So can someone point me in the right direction. I was thinking of getting my lq4 to a 408 and run the stock valve train. stock heads as well. Still going to put whipple and the n2o. looking to spend like $3000 thats my limit. Can it be done?Found a kit for like $2300 just the lower end for the block.
Parts:
2002 6.0 chev
Stroker kit to a 408 cubic inch
Mahle dish pistons
4340 steel crankshaft
4340 H beam 7/16 capscrew rods
Clevite 77 H series bearings
Plama molly rings
Tooled steel wrist pins

You also need to take machine work into account. You might be able to do a stock bore stroker for $3k.
