what about bypassing the tb coolant lines

Yeah it's not going to gain much power for sure... I used a simple brass barb from the home improvment store here. Cost me less than $2.
I dont think you would wanna do that mod in arctic temps! The coolant running through the throttle body helps keep the throttle body from freezing in cold weather, so moderate climates I would believe would be where you could do it.
