Sound like a rock stuck in a metal box of some sort
every time it hits a crack, that the two rear wheels getover a crack or kind of the suspension when it travels it kinda clicks/clinks- clink - clink..
we lifted the truck, saw there was missing the plastic pucks on the blades, the rest seemed to be all tight, i took the tailgate off, still doing it.
the sound is getting annoyinh
shocks maybe?
brakes?
hand brakes?
Change in your center cap? I've done that to people before as a joke.
Shock bushings? Spring bushings? Sway bar bushings?
will it make the same noise if you bounce up and down on the back bumper?
I had a kind of similar noise when I did my caltracs...on my truck it was one of the top shock bolts was JUST loose enough to let the shock move back and forth to make some noise...you couldn't actually SEE it I had to have one of my bigger friends move my truck up and down by the bumper while I moved the top of the shock back and forth...not saying that's your problem...but I had a similar noise...you could also check the hardware at the end of the spare tire cable for rattling. The mechanism itself or the hollow tube that you stick the metal crank in to get the spare tire down could rattle against the frame or the bed....just an idea man...
