LQ9 Swap Questions

I am getting a LQ9 Drive by wire motor to install into my 80 C-10.

I want to run a LS intake and keep the drive by wire throttle body.

What options do I have for a intake? Do I need to get intake, injectors and fuel lines to all match?

I was looking at the Professional Products polished intake for the LS1/LS6 with the 85mm opening and injectors/fuel rails.

I would really like a chrome intake but I would rather have something that works better then looks better.

Going to also do L92 heads on the motor too.

Thoughts? Opinions?

if you run those l92 heads you have to use a l92 or l76 intake if im not mistaken

Yep, you need a ls3 intake for the l92 heads.

You will have to run an L76 or L92 square port intake for the L92 heads. L92 is the truck intake. They are on EBAY for $150.00 bare. I recently paid $185.00 for one complete with injectors, rails and throttle body. The salvage yard forgot to remove the throttle body. You will generally pay more money for the L76 car style intake.

Professional Products intakes had/ may still have a problem of leaking....FYI
