1/4 mile info please...
Ok guys, I know this is my first post so don't beat me up too bad..I assure you I am 30 years old and a motorhead at heart, not a 16 year old punk asking stupid questions!
--ok, that aside, I am looking at a truck for sale that has some fairly healthy mods done to it and after looking through this forum I have guessed that it may run anywhere from high 13's to mid 12's...I am looking for a accurate estimate from some of the more hardcore drag racers on here that know there stuff...So here's some accurate info about the truck...thanks in advance for anyone willing to help...
--truck is a 00 gmc sierra rcsb (flareside) 5.3l..stock weight,cai/pacesetter lt's,true duals 3" w/aero chambers, high flow cats, tr220,.558/.558-112lsa, built 4l60e with a vig. 3000 converter,4.11 gears w/detroit true trac, vette electric fans, mail order nelson tune...It is also dropped 2/4 with otherwise stock suspension I believe...Is it possible for this thing to get in the 12's on a real tire?? thanks alot everyone!

go here http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/strip...ruck-list.html and look for a similar vehicle and you'll find you have a lot of potential comig from that setup.

yep..was allready there...I found a few people with similar setups in the 12's, but did not know if that was the norm...Thats why I was just trying to get some info from other people...thanks

If it dead hooks in really good conditions it might hit 12's its hard to say
-
Yea, The trucks I did find with similar mods were like 12.5 and 12.8 ish..I just didnt know if that was typical or not.
-
Yeah if not it wouldnt take much to get it to 12s. It should be in the 13s at least.
