Is there any difference in the GM keys vs the Ford keys? Meaning ride qaulity? What makes the Ford keys better than the GM keys? I ask, because in another forum I read about some using Ford keys to lift the front of their truck? And my final question is there a difference in the after market keys vs just cranking on the stock factory keys? And could someone show me a set of Ford keys at a decent price?
The difference between the keys, is the location of the hex machined into the key itself. That slight difference is what allows you to crank the t-bars up higher. Ford keys in a GM 1500 are pretty much just like aftermarket leveling keys. There is no key that rides better than another key, when you crank up the t-bars it changes your ride quality. And the higher you go the worse it gets, and the more drastic your steering, driveline, and suspension angles get....
