whats up guys. im new to the forums and full of questions! before i start annoying yall with my questions i guess its only polite to introduce myself. im a 21 year old college student/business owner from texas, and love trucks whether they're new, old, lifted, dropped, fast or slow it dosent matter to me. im also into first generation american muscle cars :rock: im slowly building up my truck to be a "muscle car" that can haul my 4 wheelers around(the best of both worlds)
i drive a dark grey 2001 chevy silverado with the 5.3. its an extended cab stepside(2 wheel drive).
my current mods are:
LOOKS:
4" 5" drop, cowl hood, tahoe grille shell with a billet bowtie and grille, euro turn signals, 2005 17" silverado rims, painted door handles, painted front bumper cap, tint, escelade instrument cluster and leather interrior.
PERFORMANCE:
cold air intake, helix throttle spacer, 3.73 posi, vette servo, 160 thermostat, and a hypertech program
FUTURE MODS:
pay it off :thumb: exhaust, shift kit, stall converter, bed liner and cover, 18" billet rims and uhhhh a whipple or radix charger :devil:
i figure i need to slow down the modding since i already have this much done to the truck and have only had it for 3 months. instead of buying exhaust this week as i planned, i figured it would be best to pay off a ticket or two. the truck should be paid off by the end of next summer and until then i plan to study up so ill know exactly what i want to do with the truck. im really interested in learning more about the nelson tune.
