Another Texan
Hello guys and gals,
New to the sight but I've worked on stuff all my life, my mom says I started with my baby bed and evolved from there. I worked in independent garages for around 15 years, got tired of busting my knuckles for lot of people in the public that think a mechanic is just there to put the screws to you. I guess not all of them think like that but it just takes a few to make you fill that way, I'm sure you been there if you turned wrenches for a living. I now teach to work on cars for the state of texas. I've owned a chevy p/u since I had my drivers license. I started tuning chevy cars and trucks about five years ago when I sent off my computer to a canada tuner thru mail and after much frustration I found software thru tunercat and finally got my truck running like it was suppose too. Anyhow I'm no professional tuner but I've learned a few things from school of hard knocks and bumps. So maybe I can help somewhere down the road and I'm sure I'll learn more too.
Thanks BB
