Ordered ceramic TOG's

I just ordered my ceramic TOG's for my 2003 5.3L and was wondering what the best gaskets and bolts are to use on it??

GM gaskets and ARP 12 point bolts. Can't go wrong with that setup. :smile:

If you don't want to ever have to mess with the bolts again, go with the ones found at: http://www.Go-breslin.com.

I've had these on my truck for over a year now with no issues at all. I ran them through a couple of heat/cool cycles before retorquing them and setting the set-screw. They're not cheap but they really work.

Those looked cool from the ones I sold w/ the ASMs I had. Seem sound.

Does the 5.3L take the 8mm x 25mm thats listed on the Breslin site, because they don't list the 5.3L ???

Yes, they take the 8 mm dimaeter X 1.25 mm thread pitch X 25 mm long bolts. It's the ones for the LS-1/LS-6. Catalog numbers are 608-026 for stainless and 008-026 for black oxide. I decided to go with the stainless.

Post up how those split bolts work! Those look pretty damn interesting...

I got them from TByrne. Headers, ceramic coating, and shipping to California came to $841.00
