I can't seem to find a straight answer to this?? Was the allison an option on the 2500's or just the 2500 hd's? Do all 2500's come with at least a 4l80e? :unfair:

Yes, all 2500 trucks have the 4L80e. 2500HD trucks have either the 4L80e when hooked up to a gas motor, or the Allison when hooked up to the diesel.
The allison trans is also behind some gas big blocks as well, in the HD trucks.Quote:
