guys a couple days back i was driving and my SES light came on p0175 system rich etc. so just my luck a Mercedes amg pulls up next to me and than blast off so i try to follow but my truck took forever to down shift and go. i do not recall if the RPMS went up.
now the question was this cause my computer was throwing to much fuel or was it my transmission slipping at 3-4th gear. since then the light went away and i have yet to try it again.
If you are getting a P0175 code, you prolly have an issue with your MAF. Dirty, wiring, etc. I would just go get some MAF cleaner at Autozone, spray it off and clean it--then while at Autozone--have them scan your codes and clear it.
If you have issues with your MAF causing a rich condition, your PCM may go into Limp Mode, not allowing it to downshift or go WOT. No big deal--just clean/check MAF (and connections) and have the code cleared.
