Poll: Trans safety

Well, trans blanket or shield? Why?

I put shield and am guessing that it is lighter. Just a guess though.

Carbon fiber shields are awesome, just a pain to install sometimes. I think the majority are designed for power-glides

Shield, lets air pass between it and the trans... cooler trans is a happy trans!

Shield because they don't get oil or dirt/mud soaked. Reason #2, you only get 2 feet in life that work correctly, all replacement feet/legs are an inconvenience.

i voted shield but whatever you can fit. not all applications can use a shield

I used a blanket for the T-56 in my car, but only because a shield wasn't available at that time.

Shield if one is available for your application. If not, run a blanket.
